Went with my 3 year old for Mother's Day afternoon tea. Lovely quality and really nice how they personalised it to suit my 3 year old son. They provided dinosaur shaped sandwiches and sweeties much to his delight. All at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Our second time at a princess event hosted at The Mug Tree, and it was fantastic both times. Wonderful host, delicious food, very reasonably costing menu and some of the best coffee we've ever had. Kathryn is very friendly and welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble for her. We look forward to coming back again in the new year. I also purchased a brownie box from The Mug Tree and it was great variety, and each one was excellent.

A surpringly good tea shop just off of the EG High Street. My friend bought me a tea here a little while back ago, and it was really a cosy little place to sit in and natter. Good place.

Very nice staff , called up before to reserve afternoon tea , had a lot of selection couldn’t finish it all so they provided us take away boxes , they even added a personal touch to one of the cupcakes congratulating my fiancée on her PhD. graduation. So lovely!

Wonderful Afternoon Tea, he was all out of scones so made some fresh just for us!All the other cakes were amazing too. Even the sandwiches were perfect. He really took the time to make it special for us.We had Breakfast Tea and Earl Grey, both were top notch.
Very friendly place to be , had afternoon tea with family and the food was lovely , very well put together and staff very Kind and welcoming , ordered a hot chocolate too and it was tasty , would definitely go back again ☺️

I have been coming to The Mug Tree since my Son was 3 days old. He is now 7, and I have a 5 year old daughter. The owners and the atmosphere are so welcoming, and attentive. The attention to detail and the care is clear.I last frequented The Mug Tree on Saturday when my beautiful friend, and sister in law to be, had her Baby Shower. We had afternoon tea, which was delicious, and enjoyed the chocolate making.Highly recommend
