The Malt Shoppe is a great and proper pub with friendly staff and a good-sized patio garden that catches the afternoon sun. They offer a variety of beers, including 6 cask ales and quality lagers, as well as a good selection of whisky, bourbon, and tequila. The pizzas are excellent, and they also serve some of the best chips around. The pub features live music every Saturday, as well as regular open mics and additional events on bank holiday weekends. While parking is limited at the pub, there is a multi-story car park nearby, and the pub is also wheelchair accessible via the back door.
