This cafe is exactly what you want for service, atmosphere and food and drink. Nothing grand or flash, just proper ways of doing it right. I have lunch here once a week when I am passing through, always excellent. This Sunday we (whole family) drove the 90 minutes it takes to get there for the most staggeringly good Mothers Day afternoon tea. It was delicious, the staff were fun and brilliant. The onwers are providing a wonderful service to the town and I have become a "regular" known as "soup man" for my inevitable choice of lunch. (All the soups over the last 18 months have been briiliant). They take dogs in and give them treats. It is a small space and can be busy, but somehow that doesnt matter. One of the finest cafes I have been to, and long may they continue to do what they do.

Terrible experience. Staff really didn't want customers there. Waited for ages for a prawn sandwich, other food went cold. Waiting staff dippy, felt like we were interrupting them, baby, phones, chatting. Never go back to the place again
