We eat in Pulborough establishments alot. The chefs are skilled consummate professionals and their presentation and attention to detail is outstanding. Service and follow up during dining is polite and unimposing. Thank you White Hart for a perfect dining experience.

Wonderful spot, very welcoming family run pub. Fantastic service, couldn't do enough and reasonably priced.

The pub is a burst of energy in every sip and bite! From vibrant drinks to zesty snacks, this spot screams lively. The upbeat tunes make it the go-to for a night of laughter and good times. The owner Jamie is great fun and amazing hospitality there.

Visited The White Hart Pulborough today 29/10/23 for a Sunday Lunch.Wish I'd found this place years ago. The food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, the staff are supper friendly and accommodating, and I would waste no time recommending here and will do to many people. We will certainly be returning on a regular basis. Thanks guys

Fantastic pub with great atmosphere. We ordered the mushroom pasta and hamburger - both were delicious. Will be back again.

Ordered drinks for my family before they knew I was with children. I felt the operations director did not want to serve my family drinks or food as it did not seem family friendly like it used to. We had just arrived so no judgement should be made about how well our children behave but they clearly have a no children requirement as the operations director was happy to serve other couples / groups. Will avoid this place next time traveling on River Arun

Just can not fault this place.Lovey location. The old pub building is stunning it’s so peaceful next to the river Arun. This is a place I would expect back home in Cornwall utterly beautifulWheelchair accessibility: Although there really wheelchair access that I could see it’s not to say it’s not available.

WHAT A TASTY BURGER!Infact ALL the food is awesome and the Ale is divine. We go each week to go for some paddleboarding along the river. We pre order so when we come back our food arrives quite quickly. Which is adds to the great service.Location is amazing and though there is a main road adjacent the pub oozes calm and relaxed atmosphere. If you are using the river access the Owner requests that you Do Not Park in the car park as it is quite small and his customers who are coming and going need that space.I suggested he charges a £10-20 launch fee for river users. There is space in the road for 30+ cars.

Upon arrival and walking up the steps inside to order drinks; I asked the assumed "operations director" if they are serving drinks and food as the place looked rather derelict and previously open areas were closed with no signage. The gentleman confirmed they are serving food and drinks. I head to the bar and ordered drinks for myself and family (4drinks). The "operations director"quickly approaches me to let me know they need the table back in 45minutes after seeing my family and friends sitting outside apparently due to bookings inside and outside. I asked the gentleman again if he was sure it was fully booked and confirmed again it is. More and more couples and groups arrived without children and he was happy to serve them with no bookings. I feel this pub is clearly not family friendly even if you have well mannered children. Shame used to be nice !

We’ve been here a few times over the years with mixed but this visit was excellent. Before Ohin and his team took the reins food quality was variable and service painfully slow. This time the food was delicious and service was very good and attentive. The lovely weather and the view from the riverside terrace were the icing on the cake. (No we didn’t have cake because the main was just enough) but if we had I know it would have been just as tasty. We booked on the spot to come back for what we have been told is a legendary Sunday lunch. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Lovely food and a lovely venue. Good service and tasty food. Well priced and a nice location. Parking can be a little busy, but that shouldn't put you off

Lovely location on the Stopham Old Bridge but sadly the food wasn’t to our expectation, particularly given the amazing photos on the website! I ordered the Korean pulled pork bun which wasn’t really as advertised (the ‘kimchi slaw’ I was excited to try turned out to just be ordinary coleslaw), and my partner’s beef burger was almost inedible as it was so dry. A bit of a shame for a pub in such a sweet location. The fries our dishes came with were really tasty though! What this pub does have is great service. All staff are kind and friendly. We were in a bit of a hurry and called ahead to place our order, which was then served to us almost immediately on arrival. This was very appreciated - thank you!!
