Amazing we couldn’t fault it in anyway. We visited for our anniversary and we weren’t disappointed. The food was exceptional and the staff were warm and friendly. It really made our day special. We are so pleased we found this gem. Thanks to The Black Horse for a memorable lunch. We shall return.
We called in late on the off chance for Sunday lunch and were delighted with the excellent friendly staff and welcome, plentiful and delicious food and great ambiance. An unexpected treat and we will certainly return.

This hotel has a great dining area in the bar. They serve better flat whites than many chain coffee shops & the coffee comes with a biscuit or piece of chocolate brownie. On cold, rainy days there's a great fire blazing & I enjoy my coffee & a book in front of the fireplace. Lovely staff as well. It's situated in the chocolate box pretty village of Amberley.
