A big group of us booked an Xmas meet up dinner. Unfortunately they had a chef issue on the day and told us as we arrived incase we wanted to try somewhere else.Honesty is a good policy.We decided to stay and happy to wait for food. Some of the orders got a bit mixed up food got missed but standard was good and the service and communication was amazing.Yes stuff went wrong, but they owned it! Visited on Sunday for a roast and have to say it was the best I've had in ages! Usually prefer to cook at home but the family wanted to venture out...Can't fault anything really, the staff were attentive and friendly. We ordered the Beef, which was tender, lovely roasties and Yorkshire, and well presented. My daughter had the Pork and her friend had the Chicken, both cleared their plates! Will definitely be back again.

It's okay, not the best for atmosphere inside and can be a bit 'dead' but outside in the summer is great next to the river with a DJ sometimes present - popular with the younger crowd.
