Booked ahead and our table was exactly as requested, in view of the football and dog friendly. Greeted on arrival and the dog was given water and a treat (more than 1 ). We had 2 classic meals for £12, scampi and mac n cheese, perfectly good pub food. Beer was Tribute so all good there. Would recommend this pub
Booked Christmas lunch here and I wasn’t disappointed. Absolutely perfect from start to finish . The welcome was warm , as was the pub on a filthy day! Service all through was fabulous, no delays at all and no wait for drinks despite a busy bar. All 3 courses of food were perfectly presented , hot and very tasty . Thank you to all involved, an excellent day !

Popped in on Christmas morning as staying locally. It was very busy and full of atmosphere. I asked a young man if my partner and I could share his table. He kindly agreed. We then all enjoyed an interesting conversation.It was a delight to meet such an interesting local. Cheers ?
