As a member of a dining club, going to a new venue is exciting, but also daunting, particularly when the food is as varied as it is at the Hen and Chicken! I needn’t have worried as the food was spectacular and the service was equally good. Well done!
Haven't been to this pub for many years as it was deporable. Went for a drink tonight on a whim. Omg, what a find! Great revamp. Warm atmosphere, welcoming. Thank you for the complimentary poppadums etc, totally unexpected. Watched some wonderful food walking past. We will be back for some very unusual sounding Indian dishes.

Great selection of English and Indian food at the Hen. Good value for money. Fresh Fish & Chips with peas £13 and great Indian mixed grill for £17. Our party of 10 had a great night with the friendly staff very helpful
