I like this branch as staff very friendly. Can be super busy at times due to delivery orders needing to be met, but this isn't the staff's fault. They are working as hard as they can

Long queues, overstretched and stressed staff, no proper cups/cutlery (all served in take away cups), assume a dishwasher fault. Very hot and stuffy, no working air con, dirty tables, not good. Please sort this out! Sweet treats are looking smaller every time with higher prices. Not a good experience today

BEST Iced Flat White I've had the PLEASURE of drinking. It was so delish, I almost ordered a 2nd!
Very rude staff !Wouldn’t let me purchase a cup to use because they would have to rinse it out .. followed by half a cup of coffee .. then when I asked for salt and pepper .. the girl replied to another member of staff that it was out the back .. the girl serving me just went on to serve another customer and ignored me !

Have visited twice in the last week - first time was when there was a members offer, second time a few days later.Being in the hospital, both times it was very busy, especially for its size, but staff were quick, friendly & lovely. They didn’t stop the entire time I was there &, considering they were constantly serving multiple people, the service was as quick as any other coffee shop I’ve been to (inc other branches)Second time I tried tipping but they said there was no way for them to take tips (which is disappointing).Caught a couple of names; Charlotte was working both times & was brilliant & very friendly, Sam was very knowledgeable & engaging - even when busy, & there was a young lad (with curtains) working, whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately. All are an absolute credit to the business & hopefully can be acknowledged as such.

If you want your day to be ruined then this is the place to go!!!! It’s bad enough you are in the hospital with a poorly toddler, on top of that you have to be treated with very rude staff in this branch! What it’s more 35 minutes before closing it’s takeaway service only, so here goes more plastic cups and paper bags! Not only that but also when I’ve request a plate for my little toddlers cake, they refused and put a cake in a paper bag (apparently runout of boxes) , obviously icing was all over the bag and not a cake! My LO was so disappointed! Attitude of staff it’s shocking! Absolutely worse Costa branch ever! Waste of money! I used to work in Costa coffee Brighton and there is no way that we would treat costumers like they do.
