What a welcome from all the staff, nothing too much trouble - you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment stepping inside. Yet again exceeded our expectations, brunch and well behaved dog friendly; in fact a small bowl of special treats came with our tea, hot water, milk, and lemon passion cake - so BIG thank you. AND great selection of gifts; so we bought those too. What incredible service - an absolute delight to go. THANK YOU all . Nick, Belinda and Lola

Update August 2022 - still a great little cafe. All the usual tea and coffee along with light meals etc. Nice staff and a totally Non smoking terrace - which makes a welcome change. Update February 2023 - excellent stop for a ride. Very popular with cyclists. Exceptionally pleasant staff. Well worth a visit. Updated November 2023 - swift and efficient service from very pleasant staff. Good menu for food and drinks. Very popular with cyclists. Recommended.

I was here during my visit to Bolton Abbey whilst on my holiday with my family. We absolutely loved the decor and the staff were all kind and friendly. The food was utterly fantastic and really well priced. Highly recommend if you park in the Bolton abbey car park.

We were given a voucher as a present which we opted to use on an afternoon tea for two. We were served an excellent selection of sweet and savoury items which were all delicious in a quantity just right for two. The staff were really friendly and the decor in the tearoom very pleasant. Can't fault it, highly recommended.

After a chilly walk around Bolton Abbey I popped in for a nice hot drink, staff were really welcoming and invited me to sit and they would bring me a menu. I ordered a coffee, scone, jam and cream. When the coffee came I was impressed as it was in a large mug so gradually warmed my hands round the lovely cup of coffee, then finished off with a gorgeous fresh scone with jam and cream. The tea room was clean and tidy and plenty of room to sit inside.
