Booked last minute for Sunday lunch as was passing the area with the family. Booking was confirmed straight away and we arrived to a warm welcome. The menu is simple and straightforward and very reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed the food. For a simple lunch on a weekend I would definitely recommend.

Ginger Plum Coffee Shop

Even the name, "Ginger Plum", evokes a feeling of good food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We were in the area for a short break and came across Ginger Plum whilst exploring the village of Addingham, near Ilkley. On a damp, cold day in February and with a well walked dog in tow, we were treated to a warm welcome and a range of superb cakes and drinks you can imagine. Comfortable tables & chairs and a fantastic range of local watercolour paintings that festoon the walls make this a 'must visit' stop if you're anywhere near. Better than the famous and nearby Betty's, and significantly better value.

The food was really good, although they got the orders wrong on 3 occasions eg asked for sauvignon got pinot, flat white got latte etcProbably as we were one of the last to dine and it was new years day. The waiting staff were pleasant and attentive. I did not particularly like the decor, 1st time here and I thought it would be more traditional but definitely wasn't. The lights were far too bright and the flashing lights on the christmas tree were off putting. The good thing was we could take the dogs as its dog friendly.

Large cafe on the River Wharfe in the Bolton Abbey Estate, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, i enjoyed my pot of tea and lemon cake. One complaint - please, please, please make whole milk available for your milk based Coffee's, Semi-Skimmed is just extra, tasteless water and is now yesterdays useless fad!
