Dined at Jani's for the first time recently . On arrival a very likeable waitress sat us down and took our drinks order . We decided to get the pickle tray and poppadoms as we do at most Indian restaurants . Disappointed to say the least . Poor poppadoms tasting burnt . 3 sorry looking pickles . Mango chutney runny and tasteless . The mint yoghurt the same . Also a red pickle which we couldn't work out if it was tomato or chilli . Had a great meal here last weekend. Chicken tikka masala and mushroom pakoras were lovely. The garlic naans were amazing- very hot and really tasty as was the rice and saag side order. Will be back soon.

This restaurant was ridiculously busy over the bank holiday weekend. However, we were all very impressed with the quality, taste and value of the food we were served. My Lamb Afgani was simply divine! The staff were rushed off their feet but stayed pleasant and calm. We did not have to wait too long either. My only problem was the tiny single ladies loo with the dodgy lock. It won't stop us going back though.
