Very good spot to stop while walking the canal. Next to the famous five rise locks. I am a regular here as I cycle to here very often. Staff are always very friendly the coffee is great and they have great options for cake, various food options, drinks and ice cream. Seating inside and outside they also have areas to lock your bike. Highly recommended.
Trying out new places for a coffee with friends, first time I’d visited and pleasantly surprised. We were sat outside in beautiful sunshine overlooking the canal. Coffee was good and the ambience excellent - worth going once you find how to get there (other than along the canal)

Great bacon sandwiches.Would have been 5 stars all the way, but having booked a table for 8 (which booking was accepted) when we arrived at the scheduled time, we were told they don't book tables.We had to split into two groups, but no doubt both smaller tables enjoyed gossiping about those not sat with them!
