First time I've been, and was lovely. 3 adults 1 6 year old, good choice of food, fishcakes were yum. Kids pizza was a hit too.Service was great, all staff (bar staff and waiters) all friendly. Would go back

The George & Dragon has become a regular place to eat for my family and myself. We've never had a bad meal and the service is first class. Tonight we were served by Louise and James who made us very welcome. I'd definitely recommend eating here.

Celebrated a friend's birthday with a group of 7 of us.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meals and occasion enhanced by the very friendly and accommodating staff.A comfortable and enjoyable place now becoming our port of call.Parking: Difficult this time due to street works .mainly no issue

Food very good. Service very good .Poor atmosphere really. No background music and could here conversations from several tables away. A bit like sitting in a doctors waiting room.Thank God I wasn't dining alone!!!

Went here for drinks with friends. Staff were friendly. Drinks were nice. No table service for drinks, what's wrong with the UK, everywhere on the planet has table service but us.

Really enjoyable meal. Varied menu, which is nice to see on a Sunday and good kids meal options.Parking: Parking is being affected by the flood alleviation works. We parked in the public car park at Woodhouse Grove School and walked over.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating and not at all bothered about us bringing colouring etc. Good kids meal options
