Great little tearoom which serves excellent food with good portions at very fair prices. Friendly staff. I had the corned beef slab which was very tasty. The sizes of the cake portions are huge. We shared one between two!

My main visit to the Cafe was I went to look around the Antique The Mill next door, brought something from the Mill so decided to pop in to the cafe for a tea and scone while the Mill packed my item I just brought. The cafe was packed so went upstairs there was a young lady upstairs very polite cleaning tables, waited upstairs a little while thinking I was going to be served but no one came so went back downstairs. Asked staff said no you order here then go upstairs which they had a notice so my mistake, so made my order and there was a few tables free downstairs now so sat downstairs, staff was friendly and very happy place everybody seemed to be enjoying the food and service.Brought my cup of tea out and then my scone plenty of butter and jam, first time I have ever been served a scone where I have not had to ask for more butter or jam, the scone was nice and warm so butter would spread easily so yes really enjoyed the service and food and staff was polite and happy throughout and all customers seemed satisfied, so yes if your about a nice little cafe to visit and very friendly place, certainly would recommend

Delicious afternoon tea served on tiered plates. Large variety of savoury and sweet homebaked treats. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options much appreciated.
