My main visit to the Cafe was I went to look around the Antique The Mill next door, brought something from the Mill so decided to pop in to the cafe for a tea and scone while the Mill packed my item I just brought. The cafe was packed so went upstairs there was a young lady upstairs very polite cleaning tables, waited upstairs a little while thinking I was going to be served but no one came so went back downstairs. Just had a wonderful afternoon at Spoons Tearooms for my daughter's baby shower. Private function room in traditional tearoom style, set out for our needs. Staff very obliging and attentive. Delicious afternoon tea served on tiered plates. Large variety of savoury and sweet homebaked treats. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options much appreciated.
