We were here from Canada last June-2022. My cousin lives in Brighouse and we were on a crawl. Last place we ended up and really had the most awesome time. Hoping to see you in 2024❤️

It’s pretty easy place to access or find it’s on the main road into brighouse with plenty of parking spaces on offer I would say with the make over it’s had was needed it’s added some freshness to the place . I have eaten at this venue on many occasions but this time I like to settle for the mixed grill with like fried or waffled looking chips which were very tasty in fact all the meat s were nicely cooked the meal waiting time was not long the place was full of adults & kids so a mixture of customers plus the service was very good no hassle so I would recommend if passing do drop in.

Went here on an early Saturday evening for some food. Had the hot, spicy chicken burger. Wow was it hot. Super tasty. Atmosphere in the pub was really good and we ended up staying late into the evening where it turned into part central. Beer was good value and service was superb.

Am in to watch the rugby. This place wouldn't know real real ale if it hit them in the face. When at bar numerous people brought back the hand pulled beer. Bar person just seemed to shrug and say looks OK to me. Cloudy beer not good. Surely the customer is right??? Didn't have food so can't comment.In reply to your response.2 customers in front of me ordered 1 type of beer.both came out cloudy. The person in front of me stated the beer wasn't right an was met by silence and what appeared to be if you don't like it tough attitude.The person walked out without touching his drink.I decided to try the moonshine, one of my favorite beers, and it was poor to say the least.I ended up drinking guineas.Don't know where you got 5 stars for real ale but there you go

Great for sport and groups. Really tasty, well cooked pub food.Burgers were great. Service was good and the Beer was very reasonably priced.

First time in here and it's a cracking pub. Very spacious inside.
Wasn't so keen on this place. Very expensive for what it is and a lot of people in who looked like they'd had enough by 4 p.m.

Popped in for some lunch and a couple of pints one Friday on the eve of the 1940's weekend and the FA Cup final. First time since the revamp and it's an impressive place. Was quiet when I first arrived, but started to get busy after lunch. Good menu and I like how they bundle up their meal deals in a similar way to a nearby competing pub. Good range of ales and food. Added to this, the gents toilets (always a good measure of how a pub is managed for me), are top notch and spotless!Had a chicken wrap which was very tasty. Out of curiosity - also went in the following day during the footy and the place was rammed. Too busy for me though.Will certainly be back the next time I'm out on the lash in Brighouse.

Dropped my son off for a cricket.match in Mirfield and popped into Brighouse for some shopping and lunch. What an amazing pub this is. Service was impeccable, food came out promptly. And it was delicious washed down with a guiness. Will definitely return.

Nice and roomy its clean tables not left ages to be cleared of leftovers and empty glasses prompt service at the bar and if you order a drink with your food you get a discount also great for watching sport sky TV all round the venue.Vegetarian options: Could have more options for vegetarian and vegan foods.
