We stopped here on an off chance visit to the area. The fishcakes actually tasted of fish (sometimes this isn't the case) and the chips were lovely. We'll definitely call again if we are out this
I live just over the road from the chippy, so it's a local spot for me and I must say, I don't eat fish or meat much, but the chips and sausage dinners from here are absolutely awesome and it has since become my favourite fish and chips in Yorkshire. Alot of fish and chip shops are now run by Asians, and I've tried the food from some of these places and there is no love, or flavour or care in their cooking process which delivers overcooked chips and food poisoning. Not been to this fish and chip ship for a few years, and after trying tonight wow. Everything was fantastic and all cooked fresh and to order. We will be making every effort to start visiting this establishment alot more. 5?
