We took all the family for Christmas Day. We were pleased with the service. Staff were pleasant and efficient, nothing too much trouble; very attentive. We enjoyed the food; the main course carvery servings were generous. The starters and desserts were lovely. A good effort from our local eatery, and we are pleased to have supported them. Friendly staff. Good service. Tasty pub food. Good value for money. It was very cold though, no heating on and we moved mid meal from an outside wall to a table further in. No time for a leisurely coffee needed the car to get warm again.

Enjoyed a dinner & dance with the Yorkshire (carriage) Driving Club at the nearby Manor House Golf Club. Spent the night in the Premier Inn and had breakfast in the BF next door in the morning. All you can eat hot breakfast; spoilt for choice for under a tenner. Croissants, toast, rolls, buns, crumpets, etc, and continental fare to. You would struggle to find nowt to eat or drink.Parking: Plenty of blue badge spaces
