It was a sunny Saturday so we took the bus to Wuthering heights to have some lunch and enjoy the scenic walk back home. It’s a cosy, warm and traditional pub. We received a friendly welcome and great service. We had two beers and ordered the steak pie and chicken pie with chips, peas and gravy. We both agreed the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back again.

After staggering down from Top Withins Sunday night it was pitch dark by Stanbury, we'd started walking too late! We missed the Silent Inn and the 'Friendly' Inn was just closing and didn't do food. Finally our last hope The Wuthering Heights Inn came into view and we fell inside. We stayed in shepherds hut for the weekend great people all Friendly especially mark and leslie who are really welcoming and great blokes to chat too ! Most definately be back love to all ! The Charlotte hut was everything you could possibly imagine really cozy and pretty the views are beautiful most deffo recommended to try it for yourself nice ramble into howarth and back quite sad to go today feel so relaxed ? which was a much needed time out love Tina and Aubrey xx
