“Top service, food, and surroundings, especially the outdoor seats by the river.The owner also kindly let us use their toilet long after we left when we found that the public toilet nearby was closed.”

“I came to hebden bridge to muse around the shops and take a walk along the canal . I always like to start with a good breakfast having walked passed all the cafes that were full of dogs I was pleasantly relieved that the Watergate cafe wasn’t. The place is bright an airy and the staff are friendly. The full English breakfast was good especially the bacon and the coffee was perfect. I go out for breakfast a lot and this cafe will defo be on my return list. The rest of the menu looked good also . Keep doing what you are doing ladies it’s working ?”

“Excellent food at this friendly cafe. We came with seven adults two babies and a dog and they coped with us! The food was all very good. The service was pretty good and there were good vegan and gluten free options.Dietary restrictions: There were several vegan options and all the sandwiches are available on GF bread.”
