Towngate Tearoom is one of a handful of Yorkshire tearooms people should visit. The food is sourced locally and made fresh to your order. The homemade coleslaw is great with salads and I personally had a amazing festive toasted sandwich with the delicious home made beetroot and Ginger soup. Such a friendly welcome and really lovely mince pie and Yorkshire tart. Great place to sit in atmospheric Heptonstall. Would like to return for lunch as menu looks great, esp for veggies.
