First time we have been since we came back to live in Yorkshire, went for Sunday Dinner had the lamb Shank was amazing just the roast potatoes let it down very hard and burnt otherwise perfect dinner.
We visited on Sunday afternoon , Christmas eve , the pub was busy .our party of six were seated efficiently ,our drinks order taken and delivered promptly , the food order was taken and our choices was served promptly , the food was excellent , the waitresses did an excellent job , as usual, and the bill was reasonable at the end , thanks .

Amazing food. The crab and prawn salad was delicious. The Sunday roast that followed was equally amazing. Would highly recommend this pub. Dog friendly too. Staff very friendly and efficient.
