Our first visit of the year and didn't disappoint. A warm welcome and the staff are all lovely. Carl as always bobbed out of the kitchen to say hi and check all was well (of course it was) delicious veggie special (chickpea curry) recommend if you haven't tried it to give it a go (breakfast is equally as good BTW!)

Christmas Tapas with a northern twist, absolute genius! Turkey and stuffing croquettes with a gravy dipping pot, hoisin sprouts, pigs in parkas with honey and loads more. Great quality and great prices. The service, music, decor and atmosphere are equally as good as the food. So good in fact we're trying to book again for today but with the whole family in tow.

Northern Sole is a cool cafe bar on the canal towpath of Slaithwaite serving up breakfasts by day and a mixed selection of Street Food by night- there is a bit of Greek, Japanese and Indonesian on the menu. We only called in for a drink but we couldnt pass up the opportunity to sample a little something from the menu, opting for Southern American BBQ.
