Pubs • “I don't know who's giving this place less than 5 stars but they must be idiots. Food is superb and well priced. Had the 2 course for £16.95. I had Chicken liver pate to start and roast of the day for main. Which was beef brisket. My have ha the spring roll for starter and the roast of the day sandwich which she couldn't finish. Definitely going back sometime.”

Pubs • “Lovely spot full of lovely people. Service with a smile and dogs are welcome. Stunning inside and out. We didn't try food so unfortunately I can't rate it. We will return. We visited after a muddy walk so we looked a little worse for wear. Nobody seemed fased by our muddy appearances.”

Pubs • “From stepping in to leaving every member of staff we encountered were polite, friendly, helpful and mostly efficient.The food was excellent quality and flavourful and the portions were generous. Took a little while to receive all the drink order but to be fair it was busy. Overall, our experience was excellent and the pub has a lovely atmosphere.”

“Our first but not the last visit. Our food was cooked to perfection and was beautifully presented. It was very quiet when we went at lunch time but this wasn’t a problem for us . The beer (dizzy blonde ) was also very good on a hot day. Friendly staff too. Recommended!”
