Group visit, not been here before. Good variety of bitters and mild. Stuck to the 4% range, and the beers were good and flavourful, tho I thought a bit pricey for Yorkshire. Staff friendly and efficient, and there was always someone coming around to clear the tables. Food only pork pies and pasties, but that was fine for us. Great selection of beer, monthly ‘meet the brewer’ events provide some insight into what your drinking with new entrants regularly updated, while the beer garden is nice and cosy even in the worst weather. Being new to town the friendly staff and patrons help make the place too.
