This establishment is far from shutOn a recent visit we enjoyed our stay, the young man behind the bar was polite and kept us informed of what he was doing with the pub.Marstons Pedigree although a tad too strong was a superb cask ale.Clean toilets and friendly atmosphere at the bar, reliving the old days.Keep up the good work!!.Howard & Jean

Great pub, friendly landlord and staff, excellent entertainment, especially the Wednesday quiz and supper, £1 entry with proceeds to Kirkwood hospice. Bingo is brilliant too, on the last Thurs of the month. Highly recommend this friendly local pub ?
