“Friendly atmosphere and the staff were helpful. Pretty cheap wise with drinks. smoking seated area outside. . Can be quiet some times. But has its good nights. Quite busy during the day. And is 100yds from Knottingley train station, ideal for a few before the big towns. Or good for when you get off the last train at night.”

“I often moor my boat at Ferrybridge Lock, a short walk from this pub. There is a new chef here, Kek, he and his family run the food side of things Weds to Sun. We've had a takeaway from here before which was excellent, last night we had our godson with us so we ate in and the food is even better if you eat in, it's a mixture of Thai/English/European food. The Pad Thai comes on a sizzling platter and is delicious. Really good service, friendly bar staff and it's roomy clean and spacious. Starter and mains for 3 of us was under £54.”
