Brilliant pub,welcoming locals,really good choice of beers and staff very welcoming,will defo be back. Also loads of TV sports and two pool/snooker tables,didn't really notice what they were!
Always a good place to visit. The staff are friendly. Good sence of humour. They have a great relationship with the regulars and the locals. They also will accommodate you for requests such as I asked for the music to be paused and the sound to be played on the TV for the Carabao Cup final. The staff were happy to grant my request. There's a great sized pool table and Juke box. If you see a guy with long hair playing pool. Don't challenge him. He'll be happy to give you a match...read full review

Friendly atmosphere and the staff were helpful. Pretty cheap wise with drinks. smoking seated area outside. . Can be quiet some times. But has its good nights. Quite busy during the day. And is 100yds from Knottingley train station, ideal for a few before the big towns. Or good for when you get off the last train at night.
