I come here alot and spend a fortune on coffee as I like it as somewhere to go late at night. Im asking myself why as the majority of the staff do not seem like they want to serve you. Only one was friendly and made me feel truly welcome, though she said she was leaving for University. Even the manager, the short bearded bald one blanks me, no acknowledgement whatsoever despite me trying to start up a conversation. Frequently the tables are left cluttered. I sit in there for long periods and there is never any attempt made to clear them or a request to do so by whoever is in charge. Called in tonight and the floor is disgusting. Had to clear my own table which was chock full of empty cups, plastic and wrappers. The noise from the music is too loud though not as much as the Snowhill and one, which I also frequent. Nit the first time I've had cause to complain about this place

Excellent customer service. Indiya the manager was friendly and cheerful, chatting to my grandson. Great atmosphere and so clean. Will definitely go again

I have gone to Starbucks since I was a little girl but recently I have had some issues with the service and the app! I would like to complain about the Starbucks near Whiterose, Dewsbury road , Leeds, A653, LS27 8PU. Last night about 21:40PM 11/03/23, me and my boyfriend went to the drive thru to get some drinks. We always get Java chip Frappuccino’s. When ordering the person with the glasses we assume seemed to snigger when I was ordering my boyfriends order as he prefers a really strong coffee. My order was a ‘Large Java chip frapp with almond milk and vegan cream and my boyfriend wanted a Large Java chip frap but instead of frapp roast a triple espresso with skimmed milk and normal cream.’ In my eyes not the most confusing or out of the ordinary kind of order. We drove round and got our drinks I always double check his just in case but when leaving he took a sip and couldn’t taste coffee. I tried mine and it tasted of coffee more than usual and said 4 frapp roast? Not sure if it usually does. I drove back around as the weather wasn’t nice. We got no apology and we felt bad for expressing that you just couldn’t taste the coffee. They made it again and took a while. There was no apology at the window again. Bad customer service from the staff working that night. We drove away and there was no chocolate sauce on his as there was mine. It may sound petty however we are paying customers at the end of the day and if it has chocolate sauce on the website it should in person they wasn’t busy Maybe 4/5 cars altogether that we saw in the 3 times!!! we went round. Again drove around just taking the mick at this point. AGAIN no apology from the staff I have worked in customer service for years and that is not good customer service. I have always liked this Starbucks for the opening times and when I’m by Whiterose to treat myself but I am reluctant to go back after this. Another complaint I have is a few months ago I heard about the app to get points. I thought great and downloaded I go to the Starbucks near me a lot as I love the coffee. However I thought the points system would work on food also. It is 3 points for every drink, fair enough. But I spend a fortune at Starbucks and realising that the reward coffees can expire I disagree with. I had 2 the other week went to the Starbucks near my work and they had gone I never knew they could expire and another joke in my eyes again with the amount of money I spend here. Also the fact you can’t get food or anything else but drinks free on the rewards, even though I’m spending again a fortune here is not right. I am genuinely thinking of going to Costa in the future.

Called here for a latte today and was served by a lovely lady called Rachel who told me to take a seat and she then brought my order over to me, some of the other staff members at other branches could do to be more like her, she was a breath of fresh air ?

I arrived at the store today around 230pm. The person serving me was abrupt from the outset. I was placing a medium sized order. Instead of asking me if that was everything the staff member bluntly told me the total price after each time I added an item which was frustrating as I was ordering several items. I also wished to pay for a frappuccino for my son who I was collecting from school roughly 45 mins later. As I did not want the cream to melt and drink to be spoiled I requested that it be made 30 mins later so I could take it on my way out. I had done this a few weeks earlier with no issues. The staff member asked me to come back place the order and pay seperately in 30 mins, I explained I did not wish to do this as there may be a large queue and I could not risk being late collecting my son from school. The staff members response was that I could pay now but she could not guarantee she would remember and that I would likely not receive the drink. I also had a negative experience at this store the week prior to this. I attempted to place an order at the drive thru but was told by the staff member that they could not hear me. I could not reverse out of the drive thru as there were other vehicles behind me. I waited in the queue for approx 15 mins. When I got to the window I explained I was unable to place an order as the member of staff had been unable to hear me. I was then asked to drive round the drive thru again as there was a queue instead of letting my place the order there. I felt this was unacceptable especially as I had already wasted the majority of my break stuck in the queue (I work in a local GP practice and had to be back to see patients). I have never had any issues at other starbucks stores and wondered if there was a reason for the abysmal customer service? My regular Friday afternoon starbucks was welcome respite from the pressures of working in the NHS but I will now take my custom elsewhere. The cineworld starbucks does not accept my starbucks card due to being affiliated with the cinema and there are no other starbucks within a distance that allows me to be back in time for my afternoon patients.

Good Starbuck coffee as expected. Nice that it's in its own building next to the White Rose centre so you don't need to go into the main centre. Starbucks are always slightly cool in temperature, so bring an extra layer. Also good that the car park exits directly towards the John Charles Aquatic Centre without having to get involved in any complicated junctions of the shopping centre.

Very busy cafe, useful as it has covered outdoor seating as well as indoors.. nice toilets, disabled easy access in all areas. Expensive but excellent food and coffee. Good selection of interesting other drinks.
