Visited the Stump Cross for the first time yesterday for Sunday lunch and we were not dissapointed. We both had roast pork with cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, peas and roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud! And it was delicious and so was the 2 pints of leeds Pale Ale. The pub was quite busy when we left so I would advise booking a table. We will definitely visit again!!! Nearly forgot... The apple crumble was excellent.
Danny and Miranda are great hosts! They take great pride in the place!,which is always spotlessly clean!! Always a warm welcome! To us and our dog!! … she actually likes Danny better than us tbh … the treat man!! ? great clientele too ! Really friendly folk!! and to top it off the beer is always top notch!! Couldn’t fault anything!! ?

Went today for a mother's day lunch.There were 17 in our party and the food was absolutely sublime.Can't knock anything. Everyone was catered for, the chef couldn't bend over backwards enough.We informed them prior to our arrival we had a vegetarian in the group, they purchased a lovely alternative and gravy especially for her.Desserts were beautiful. Everything was hot and so fresh. Absolutely loads to choose from.Great service from all staff.
