“Went for lunch with x2 kids and dog. It was quiet for a Saturday, not sure why as the food and service is great. Plenty of space so you don’t feel packed in and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Nice family friendly pub”

“Had a family meal at the Roebuck yesterday, first time customers since it gained new owners. I had the steak and ale pie for main and jam roly poly for pudding. It was all very good. Well cooked, the chunky chips were delicious and the pie was chocked full of meat. The pudding was proper suet and a perfect end to my meal. As a none drinker I was also happy that they serve 0% beer. The rest of our group had burgers and Sunday roasts and everyone was very pleased. The service was delightful , very friendly staff. The bill was slightly surprising at the end as I had expected it to have cost more. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.”

“First time visit with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend, what a wonderful place. My daughter’s boyfriend has been going since a child and said how good the fish and chips were and he’s not wrong. We visited the restaurant and were greeted by a very friendly welcome and the staff were very attentive. Things just got better when the food arrived, some of us had the regular and my husband had the special. They were all delicious good size chips crispy outside and fluffy inside. The fish was delicious, crispy, light batter and really thick tasty fish. Some of us tried desserts, ice cream, a sundae and Bakewell tart, the same quality with these too, homemade. There is also a takeaway and we will try that too.
Would highly recommend and we will definitely return.”
