Whenever my friends come to stay in Leeds I take them to Otley for lunch here too because it’s just so delicious. Good portion size, really tasty and fresh, always a friendly service. May they long reign! Would recommend the gyros with sausage and mustard, or a mixed meat meze platter especially.

Hartley House, 50 Mill Ln, OtleyBy far our favourite restaurant in Otley. Beautiful riverside location and the veranda is always well heated and pretty with fairy lights. Menu is diverse with gluten free and veggie/vegan options. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Sometimes we’re waiting a little bit to pay the bill if it’s busy but otherwise can’t fault anything and the food is fantastic! ☺️ recommend starting with a sharing pizza, bread and olives with delicious olive oil.

I ordered 2 popadoms which were delicious and warm and were served within minute and then I got some kebab meat which was delicious and extremely flavourful. For my main course I got a chicken tikka which was so nice. I was so full that I had to take some home. The service was great and the whole restaurant having a general good atmosphere and traditional Indian music playing. After we payed we got a hot towel and a mint chocolate. Amazing experience.

Golf Club, Otley Golf Club, West Busk Lane, W Busk Ln, OtleyWe arrived at Otley golf club for our away day, was greeted with coffee and bacon sandwiches, The course was fantastic and in very good condition ( compliments to the green staff) came off the course and had a very good evening meal, very enjoyable. The service was also very good indeed, however I hope the kitchen can serve fresher bread for the sandwiches than what was served to us, a minor problem, that's why it received 4stars instead of 5. Well worth a visit.

The pizzas and burger we ordered were excellent, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. It is slightly pricier than other pizza places in town, but the quality really shows. The only thing to note is that parking can be a bit of a challenge, so be prepared to circle around the nearby roads to find a spot if you’re collecting your order.

Said there was a lot of traffic on the bridge tonight and surrounding area. Great staff who were clearly working hard to ensure all orders were going out the door piping hot for delivery. Hope they have a good shift! Especially with the phone constantly ringing due to delivery delays out of their control ??

By luck we visited on Thursday when they offer a choice of hot meals for £4.50 to senior citizens. Really don't know how they do them for that price. Possibly a bit light on the fish and meat but really enjoyed the meal and would not complain.

Great vibe about the place and the staff are so friendly.Wish there was one closer to home for us!

The fish and chips are simply outstanding the fish is incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection with a light, crispy batter that’s spot on every time. Portion sizes are generous without being over the top, making it excellent value for money.
What really sets this place apart though is the curry sauce genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich, flavourful, and the perfect accompaniment to an already fantastic meal.
On top of the food, the staff and owners make the whole experience even better. They’re welcoming, friendly, and always up for a chat, which gives the place a real community feel.
Whether you’re a local or just visiting Otley, I couldn’t recommend Gay Lane Fisheries highly enough. A proper gem of a chippy that gets everything right.

The Wharfe Fish & Chip Restaurant
17 Bridge St, OtleyWe called in on Tuesday 26 Aug after reading reviews and was not disappointed. We were a party of 4 pensioners and had the pensioners special. It was beautiful, hand cut chips with crunchy batter and flacky fish. Delicious.
The young lady serving us was a pleasure to meet, so attentive to our needs, and proper Yorkshire tea.
Whilst we were there it poured down and a family came in wet through. The young lady got them dry towels to help dry themselves off. What great service. I wish I had caught her name as she deserves high praise.
We will definitely be going back next time we are in Otley and recommend to anyone else who is fortunate enough to visit this lovely town. 10/10

The staff are really friendly and accommodating (including making my butter softer to spread on my toasted teacake!).
