Stopped off on my to Ingleton. Managed to find parking close to the shop and despite the poor weather I didn't get too wet. I was feeling peckish and went for the classic fish and chips, scraps were offered but I passed on these. The sun came as we sat outside making the whole experience even better.
Visited for the first time on Saturday lunchtime as we were in Otley & needed lunch, it's a bit hidden away from the main shopping street but was well worth finding. From Weegman's butchers on the corner near the clock tower & market, follow the side street down a few hundred yards till you see a car park & the Maypole fisheries is on the left. Fantastic fish & chips. We ordered specials & they did not disapoint.Well worth having to stand in the rain outside the shop as it was so busy.Friendly, efficient staff.Can't fault anything.See you again soon.
