In the centre of Otley, the restaurant is set in a lovely location.The majority of the dishes are gluten-free, and tasty. There are plenty of curries to chose from.I got a lamb nurgaki, which was nice but not anywhere close to the top 10 curries I've eaten in my life. However, everyone else really enjoyed theirs.The staff and atmosphere were both great.

First off i want to say is why i gave a 1 star to this place.. is because the manager miah i think, has been giving alot of verbals to another elderly person, i disliked the fact that as a manager his not doing a good customer service as that's the main thing in a restaurant environment. On the other hand Don't get me wrong the food and service was great! The young lad with curly hair is a hard working waiter. including the rest of them. As I've just moved into that area as friends have recommended. i thought i'd try this place as it's nearly 5 star. I do recommend this place as in food wise and the waiters that do a fabulous job. This night was really busy, i think the manager got frustrated or pressured but the service is fast.Thanks to the chefs and everyone in the kitchen, also the delivery drivers as i have ordered a big order to my friends house for a big party. They were quick and the packing was nicely organised and packed. They're a machine!!!! Without these staffs this place would go downhill. Thanks to the chefs and the waiters, ill be coming down to give you all a tip as you deserve it, hopefully next week or some time. Cheers mateNo disability parking spaces!I have to walk it all the way here and leave my car somewhere else, as it gets really hard for my mom who has a disability.Food - 10/10Service - it was greatDrinks - worth the price alcohol/ soft drinksBesides that everything was cool, will be back soon.

Great food, good price. Exactly the sort of old fashioned curry experience we were after, popadoms and a pickle tray, mixed kebab starter and good curries for the main. All good. Apart from the coffee-do not bother getting this!

Were shown to our table waited 20 mins for menus and drinks then the worst waited an Hour for food to arrive, by this time our drinks were finished and tried several times to order more. Were just about to walk out when food arrived. Did notice that there was a lot of take away going out and food in the restaurant were left last. We were not the only customers sitting for a long time waiting for food. It is true what one customer said you would be quicker getting a take away as these were going out fast and furious. Not even an apology for the wait !!!
I was visiting Otley and selected the Red Pepper after scanning Tripadvisor reviews. Happy to confirm that this is a decent Indian restaurant which offers good service and a nice range of dishes at reasonable prices. Poppadoms, main dish with rice and Kingfisher was about £23. The usual hot towel plus chocolate was provided. My only observation is that decor is quite simple and space is at a premium so maybe not the place for a romantic tête-à-tête.
