“We came upon this establishment by chance rather than recommendation.We are cautious in giving too much praise, however, our experience fully merited a 5 star award. Reading the menu makes your mouth water and it is difficult to make a choice with such a comprehensive selection. However choices made and watching other customers meals being brought to the table, we thought we are in for a treat. Our meals arrived and were a visual delight. They tasted as good as they looked. They were truly delicious.My wife chose the duck breast and I chose the sea bass and we shared a portion of sweet potato chips. I am not one for superlatives but our meals were exquisite. We were in the area for 2 nights and at the end of our visit on Friday evening, we enquired if we could book for the following evening. To our surprise they were able to meet our request. On our second visit I chose the swordfish and my wife the calf's liver, sharing a portion of mixed vegetables. We chose to share "a trio of desserts" We consider two courses for £25 to be the expected tariff in "average establishments". We were amazed that food of this quality was being offered at this price. The quality of service matched the quality of the food. Overall a memorable experience It is unlikely that we shall be in the area again, but if so this would be our first port of call.”

“Popped in for a quick drink after work and ended up ordering meals and more drinks. Superb service from the team that contributed to a great atmosphere. Food was good quality, and having Calamari on the menu was a pleasant surprise. Well done to Danny and the team! Highly recommended with 5 Stars!”

“Didn't go in the pub it was closed but the building and the area was nice highly recommend a walk especially if you have a dog.”
