Pubs • “Having read some of the negative reviews on here we were wondering what it would be like when we went in on Friday night. They must have been reviewing a different place as the welcome from James could not have been warmer. So much so that we decided to go back in on Saturday night and order food. Despite the fact that they were dealing with a coach load of visitors and the place was packed, from placing our order to delivery was only about 20 minutes (we expected to wait longer). The food was absolutely fine and delivered with a smile by David and the bar staff though they were rushed off their feet. We are looking forward to going back.”

“Shipley is blessed with some very good pubs. Introduced to this gem of a pub by a friend on a visit to the nearby salts Mill this is definitely worthy of five stars. This lovely rustic Style pub has a fantastic range of cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. There is also a good range of other beers and lager. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and so are the other customers. It's dog friendly too. A great pub highly recommended.Parking: There is plenty of free parking on the roads around the pub.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up into the pub and the back of the pub is on a different level not good for wheelchairs.”
