“We went on a Sunday evening and the pub was quiet. The beer was well kept and good value. Two of us had the Sunday lunch which was very tasty, the meat was a little over cooked for me but others would disagree and the accompaniments were excellent. One had the chicken and leek pie which was really good, excellent pastry.”
