“We booked for a group of ten of us from Spice Social. This pub catered for our dietary requirements and served a delicious Sunday lunch, hot and with generous portions. We were pushed for time as we were on a hire boat and had to get back to Skipton, but the service was fast and efficient. Really really good.”

As you walk in you are greeted by the familiar feel of a typical friendly British village pub, with friendly bar staff ready to engage in conversation. The decor is both traditional and modern at the same time and the prices are reasonable.

They have all sorts of different nights on, as well as a lovely area to sit outside on the sunnier afternoons and watch the world go by, and games to play in the back room.

If you are visiting for a day, or love locally and haven't tried it out, make sure you add it to your list - you won't regret it.

Parking: There is no car park, but there is on street parking, you night just have to walk a bit. Due try and park respectfully, people who live nearby also need to park, and the narrow roads make it hard to pass sometimes.”
