Great atmosphere great staff great selection of beverages.The locals who frequent this establishment are great fun,I recently got talking to a young hunk called Brandon he's an up and coming professional wrestler who goes by the nameThe Yorkshire Terrier.
Great place for true Yorkshire drinking and live entertainment. Friendly staff. Local Pub full of local characters. Micro Brewery brewing their own unique beers with quirky names, (one named after a former landlord of over 20 years Wilfred Huck known to his customers as 'Wilf Huck' be careful of the pronunciation when asking for a pint of this!) other brews include, Cobby'd' Ale named after the local folk of Cobbydale, if you are not from these parts you are known as an 'off-cubender'...read full review

Staff were really lovely, made me feel so welcome. Just stopped off for lunch which was nice. Cosy pub and very clean. Only downside was the locals taking over a bit. Loud and not particularly relaxing.
