Great place. Log fires and delicious food smells in the air all compliment the great hand pulled ales.

I haven't tried the food so i cant rate it. The pub is very characteristic, with an old fashioned style takes everyone in a time trip. I loved the decor, and the fireplace. Lovely service.

What super friendly people! An absolute gem of a place in Ripponden, serving tasty food at reasonable prices. It's warm cosy atmosphere draws you in from the moment you step inside. I'll definitely be frequenting this delightful pub.

Great traditional pub that i was told was over 700 years old. This was recommended to me by the owner of the 'Over the Bridge B&B' during my stay and i was not disappointed! As my host had been very helpful i tried the Bread and Butter IPA that seemed to be hugely popular in the pub and it was beautiful. The hand pulled ale was clear and very nice and the service was excellent. I also ate in the pub and had the brie to start and a burger & chips for main course. These were excellent and again the service was very good. Would love to live a little closer than the 2.5 hours i do from this pub as it is definitely my type of place. Very friendly people and lots of locals enjoying a post work beer. This added to the great experience i had in Ripponden overall and i will definitely be back to the area and to the Old Bridge Inn!!

We’ve visited several eateries in Ripponden and the Old Bridge Inn is far superior. The food is always superb. The chefs produce first class food, whether it be during the week or for Sunday roast. We tried Sunday roast yesterday and the food was amazingly good! Very surprised this pub hasn’t got an award. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and lovely warm fires. Very quaint and oldy worldly- excellent. Would definitely recommend 100%

First time visit and certainly won't be the last. Chose The Old Bridge Inn for a family catch up for my Dad's birthday as it was equidistant for all travelling. Pre-booked and pre-ordered as there were a few of us, really efficient and meant that the kitchen were on top of everything. The food was fantastic! Starters including the mushrooms, pate, deep fried cheese and salmon and prawns went down a treat with the children all happily 'sampling' from the adult's plates! Then the roast dinners, absolutely immense! Beautiful rare beef, succulent chicken and really tasty turkey, everybody was delighted. Yorkshire puddings were fantastic, as were the vegetables and cauliflower cheese (I'd come again just for a dish of it!) The Children's portions were enormous, they probably only needed one between two! Thanks for having us, your team were lovely!

I’m still sat at the table as I write this, but the meal was so stunning, I felt moved to pick up my phone. Here with my husband, I had chicken liver pate to start and we both had the turkey dinner (with a Yorkshire). Seriously cannot recommend enough, plus service is excellent as they have plenty of lovely staff on.

Came here couple weeks ago, with friends who highly recommend this very old, unique pub. Built 1307, it's SO full of character. Great Lunchtime menu, great portions. Lovely smiling staff.

Came here for a Sunday roast with the family and it we all agreed it was the best Sunday Roast we had tasted in a long time. The Yorkshire puddings were homemade, superb cauliflower cheese baked in the oven and enough vegetables to go around. The only small suggestion would be the beef is cooked quite rare, I feel it may help if the customer had an option of having it a bit more well done. I would highly recommend and well worth a visit, we will definitely be returning. The staff are also so friendly and welcoming.

Great little pub. Really nice food and great service. We will definitely come here again.Parking: You can park in a car park by the church but we were told you can go over the bridge by the pub and park next to the pub.
