Called in to return some property to someone.Pleasant atmosphere, friendly barman and good selection of beers.Plenty of TVs for sport.Was a Saturday afternoon but not too busy.Snacks food on offer but didn't try any.Will certainly visit again.
It’s been better since COVID. Staff seem happy. Still struggle with sound when there are two different match’s on. which means you could be watching a match that has the other match’s commentary . But other than that pub is a great little place. The beer is good too ….

Spent the weekend in campervans in Ripponden.We tried all the pubs ,but this was our favourite by far.Great pub with friendly landlord and staff.Very clean,decent drinks and friendly locals.We will be back .thank you
