Friendly staff and people, nice atmosphere, food looks delicious although not tried. However people sat vaping not desirable and lets it down. As someone with lung issues being sat in a room with three people vaping and no alternative place to sit was really off putting!

Excellent food! The lamb Henry appeared to be half a leg of lamb! The mixed grill was enormous! The Christmas dinner was divine! We didn't have to wait long before the food was served to all 8 of us at the same time, piping hot and in very generous quantity. The staff were lovely! My family travel to Todmorden for our annual Christmas get together at the Glen View because we love the food and now it has become a tradition. We would recommend anyone to pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed!

Been going for over 15 years never had a bad meal not once. Last time I went was different however. My steak was severely undercooked it was dripping blood which ruined chips and everything else. A young lad came over and asked if food was ok. I said no the steak is undercooked I asked for medium this is barely even rare. He went away and never returned. Left sat with a plate full of blood and a ruined meal. Paid begrudgingly and left in a foul mood.

We had a delightful experience at the Glen View Pub. The food was not only delicious but also came in generous portion sizes. Jane, who welcomed us, was exceptionally warm and made us feel right at home. The young lad who served us was polite and attentive throughout our visit, adding to the overall positive impression. I highly recommend this pub for a wonderful dining experience.

Good food and good prices. Had steak, chips with egg mushrooms and a little side salad. Very good portions, came on a big plate!! Also had strawberry ? pavlova for dessert which was really nice. Well worth a visit!!

Very friendly pub, great atmosphere. Staff were very attentive. There were 10 of us having a roast dinner which was absolutely delicious. All the meals came out together and were all piping hot. Plenty of meat vegetables mash and roasties. If your in Todmorden I would highly recommend you give The Glen View a visit.

This is not fine-dining. This is good, honest British fayre. Over 2 days within a week we have sampled the lamb henry (at least half a leg of lamb - see photo), the roast pork dinner and the roasted vegetable lasagne. Everything was fresh, hot and utterly delicious. The only negative and really it is very minor; there was no crackling with the pork. Despite that, we are going back again tonight with some more family members. Yummy!

We went for a late lunch. Found the last parking spot. Greeted by a lovely lady who served our drinks and who took our orders after being seated. Unfortunately two of us wanted the braised steak but only one left. Not a problem still plenty of choice plus the specials board. I decided on the Lamb Henry, what a brilliant decision, absolutely beautiful, well presented and done to perfection. The remaining three all enjoyed their choices as well. Great value for money and although we only get to this neck of the woods once a year, we'll certainly be returning the next time. See you next year.
