We have always said we will give this place a try, and last night was finally the night.It did not disappoint!Went with friends so 4 of us. All had starters, main & dessert. Food was genuinely beautiful & even tho the wait was a little longer than I would have personally liked it was mouth watering. Clearly all fresh cooked, flavours perfect! Truly gorgeous food. Really well cooked. I’d recommend the ‘puff puff’ which is like a savoury doughnut. Couldn’t get enough! Lovely service too. Really friendly and attentive. I’ve never been here before and we’ve done ALL the restaurants in Wakefield. Can’t believe we’ve missed it. We’ll definitely be back soon. You’ll not be disappointed.

We were a party of 3 people and chose the lunchtime menu. The food was excellent and also the service. The only minor point was that we initially tried to book by telephone. There is an answering machine so I booked via the internet. The restaurant could be missing out on loads of telephone bookings if the phone is not picked up.
