Went for afternoon tea, the hotel was not open, so the afternoon tea was held within the leisure centre, near to the pool and the smell of chlorine. Sandwiches and sweet stuff not the best.Would not recommend.

Paul was great and made us feel really welcomed and looked after. The food was fabulous for the afternoon tea, especially the vegetarian selection. Lovely homemade cakes and scones. The spa facilities are clean and there is plenty to do to relax with the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool. Thank you, see you against soon.

My wife and I enjoyed a spa break with Afternoon Tea booked through BuyaGift. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lauren who made us most welcome. The spa was lovely and clean and we had a good overview of the facilities from Lauren before going in.

Came here for a "Spa Day and afternoon tea" and loved every minute! I was lucky enough to be given a spa day experience and decided to come here with my partner. We arrived on a Saturday and, never having done anything like this before, was unsure of what to expect. We were first met by the the lovely Lauren who explained everything in detail. We then met Paul who was equally great! We used the swimming pool, which is a perfect size (not too big) - the jacuzzi was a definite favourite, and I also tried the steam room, much better than a sauna in my opinion! My partner tried the sauna but I declined due to a past experience. We were brought cups of ice cold water half way through, although we could have gone and got our own as many times as we wanted. The absolute best bit was that it was completely empty besides us!! I felt like royalty or maybe an "A lister" lol After spending quite a while going back and forth between the different things, we decided to get dressed and head for our afternoon tea. This was brought to us by Paul, who couldn't do enough for us, and was really lovely. Tasty sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam and lots of delicious sweet treats to top it off! All very yummy ? We also opted for coffee instead of tea and was kept topped up by Paul. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all, a fantastic day and we were made to feel so welcome. Both Lauren and Paul were so friendly and helpful and we've decided we really must do it again soon! ❤ We can't thank them enough. Highly recommended *****

I visited with my Mum, Sister and Niece and used an afternoon tea voucher we had gotten as gifts, this entitled us to 2hrs use of the leisure facilities. This included gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all of which were great. Then we went into the lounge area for our lunch - this was fantastic, amazing food, good quantity (took some home). But what really made the day was the 2 team members working (didn’t get names as no badges) there was a lovely lady on the reception desk, so helpful and really couldn’t have done any more for us when we arrived. There was also a gentleman who kept checking on us making sure we were having a great time, he made separate cheese sandwiches for my niece (she’s really picky) can of pop for her (which was not included in the voucher) honestly there were the nicest people !!!! Will defo be going back !

We had a spa and afternoon tea experience today.We had a lovely time. Paul and Harry couldn't do enough to help.The pool facilities are clean and not too busy.The afternoon tea was lovely. Plenty of variety and we were left very full.We would recommend this to anyone looking for an afternoon filled with good food and nice surroundings in need of relaxation

Used the spa today, the young man on reception was extremely polite and pleasant. The female staff however not as friendly.Sandwiches came with sauces etc which was disappointing if you do not like mustard etc. Scone was amazing!!Overall pleasant experience.

Only use swimming pool for children's lessons, but clean and tidy. Plenty of parking. Can't use hotel as used for refugees.

Brilliant service from start to finish I would definitely recommend. Special mention for Lauren who couldn’t of been more helpful she went above and beyond to make sure our special celebration was perfect it was really appreciated. Her customer service was impeccable.
