Lovely fish and chips. We ate in the restaurant. Excellent service. Fish, chips, tea, bread and butter, £12.95 and my Grandson got a free child fish and chips which were equally as nice. Really enjoyed it.
For someone that doesn't like fish from a chippy I have to admit that the fish here was amazing. It's the batter I don't like as it's usually too thick and full of grease. This batter was light and fluffy and not greasy at all. Chips weren't amazing though so four stars.

Called in for takeaway. We bypassed Durkar fisheries to go to the Kingfigher. Although we didn’t wait long, when we arrived home we were disappointed. The chips were bland and cold, the fish was small and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. Not great. Back to the other chippy
