Orderd a few days ago food was spot on but today was abysmal firstly ordered 2 lattes at £2.50 each to just be delivered 2 standard coffees because machine had broken tbh 5 quid for 2 coffees is ridicules no offer of a refund or asked if its ok to send a coffee just here thats what you have got attitude then to open the sandwiches to find a small peice of a plum tomato slapped on each b.e.s.t I mean come on how is that acceptable will not be ordering again for sure neither will anyone I know when I spread the word

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. Really warm, friendly welcome. (Huge) bacon and sausage bap, jacket potato with loads of cheese and salad, coffee and tea (refillable) for £7! Chap next to us had biggest chip butty we've ever seen! Ladies were generous in spirit and produce!

Wonderful, tasty food at a reasonable price, great value! Staff were really attentive and accommodating. Will pop in again when I’m in need of some lunch!

We had 4 afternoon teas made for the kings coronation. These were fit for a king & queen never mind us. I have never seen so much stuff in an afternoon tea, top quality food and service. Thank you Alyson.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were available if requiredDietary restrictions: We had a member of the party who had severe allergy to shellfish. Alyson followed strict food hygiene guidelines.

Food service time, 13:05 - ordered Jackets potato, with beans and coleslaw, no coleslaw available so asked for beans and cheese. Took about 10 minutes, food came out tepid and Jo was about 6cm long and 4cm diameter dry to a depth of 1.5cm, with a waxy (not fluffy texture) about 1/4 can (330g) of beans - cold and approx one tablespoon of cheese. All served in an environmentally damaging polystyrene carton with ‘disposable’ plastic cutlery which didn’t sustain one use, let alone a reuse. Came to £3:50 was initially short changed but rectified when queried. Service was okay, nothing outstanding and definitely not a reason to return. A real shame because it had been recommended to me by other staff, be have since been told you only get the good stuff if your a regular, no change of me becoming a regular and running the gauntlet of below par food. Have now removed this place from our recommended eats list for our building.
