“I was visiting Wakefield and came across Luis Bar on Google maps. I rocked up outside and very nearly didn't go in, it's on a kind of rough looking side street, but I am very glad I did because the external appearance was deceptive. A fantastic gem of a place, with a nice atmosphere, decent beer, and friendly staff. Well worth a visit! Cask beers were about £4.20 / pint”

“Went yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and plentiful, and the quality was very good indeed; we will definitely be back!
Parking: The pub has a large car park and we had absolutely no problem finding a space.”

“My 2 sisters and niece only manage to all get together a few times a year, and we always chose The Red Kite, Wakefield to meet for lunch It's a really welcoming abe comfortable place with great food great prices and fantastic staff who are always friendly and very helpful, nothing ever too much trouble. Cath looked after us today and, taking nothing away from her colleagues as they are all great, but Cath really was fab.. Thank you everyone at The Red Kite for making our family get together perfect See you next time xx Sue, Chris, Jackie & Rachel x”

Staff are friendly, food is fantastic with vegetarian options too! Great atmosphere every time I have gone. Would highly recommend.
