A lovely cafe near the free parking area. The cafe overlooks the weir. Lovely selection of food, drinks etc.Seating outside with dogs welcomed. The toilet was immaculate with everything needed for baby changing, clean flannels to dry hands. The WC was upstairs. Selection of goods for sale within the cafe.Staff were very polite.Parking: The carpark is free at the moment but is up for change with Leeds council soon. Plenty of room for manoeuvring into spaces, one way in, one way out. Icecream nearby.

I had arranged to meet my family at the Cottage Coffee shop which is next to a large free car park. Unfortunately as we walked through the car park my son slipped over on the slippy leaves turned his ankle very badly and was covered in mud. On arrival in the cafe the owner could not have helped us enough. She gave us an ice pack for my son’s ankle offering ibruprofen and generally making us feeling very cared for. Coupled with the lovely foods ( best pumpkin soup I have ever tasted ) and the really polite serving staff it was a wonderful visit despite the circumstances.

We popped in on a rainy Monday afternoon for coffee and cake. There was a family there when we arrived but they left leaving only us 2 in the cafe. We both ordered coffee and cake. We were sat right next to the kitchen and the door was open so we could here the staff chatting and then a microwave pinging, twice. We can only assume it was for our coffee as they were piping hot and the cakes were served cold. We ordered americano & flat white so we assumed the coffee was from a proper coffee machine, it did not taste like it was!? We can only guess they have a jug of filter coffee they heat up in the microwave? The cakes on display look amazing but only tasted average, a bit dry if anything. We had lemon drizzle and apple & blackberry crumble. Not a good look to be covered in cling film although inside nice glass display cabinets. As the building was once a house the rooms although quirky are a bit small and cramped. It is situated in a lovely spot though with fabulous gardens so I am sure on a sunny day it is very nice to sit outside where there is lots of chairs and tables.

We had the most delicious strawberry and rhubarb blondie that was the highlight of an overall lovely meal! There was such a friendly atmosphere as if lots of people like us were stopping off on the way further north. Such an idyllic place as we’ll definitely be back!
Lovely little place. Expensive though. 2 slices of supermarket bread and 3 spoonfuls of beans £6.50! Disappointed. Won’t rush back.

A lovely quintessentialy English tea rooms & café. There is indoor & outdoor seating waited on by friendly staff serving a superb selection of expertly prepared food drinks & mouth watering cakes.I chose a Chicken Ceaser Salad which was absolutely delicious with a plethora of fresh salad including cucumber & tomatoes (which not many other cafés offer!)Overall our visit here was a delightful stop off which I highly recommend visiting if you are in Wetherby.

Lovely location and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the prices are pretty high for the quality of food. Ordered a large iced americano which arrived with half the coffee foamed (unsure how you even manage that with an americano) and a ham salad sandwich that I could've made better at home. For the price, I was expecting something more than ham from a supermarket pack and dry lettuce. There are definitely far better cafes in Wetherby- don't let the picturesque location lure you!
