I had arranged to meet my family at the Cottage Coffee shop which is next to a large free car park. Unfortunately as we walked through the car park my son slipped over on the slippy leaves turned his ankle very badly and was covered in mud. On arrival in the cafe the owner could not have helped us enough. She gave us an ice pack for my son’s ankle offering ibruprofen and generally making us feeling very cared for. We had the most delicious strawberry and rhubarb blondie that was the highlight of an overall lovely meal! There was such a friendly atmosphere as if lots of people like us were stopping off on the way further north. Such an idyllic place as we’ll definitely be back!

A lovely quintessentialy English tea rooms & café. There is indoor & outdoor seating waited on by friendly staff serving a superb selection of expertly prepared food drinks & mouth watering cakes.I chose a Chicken Ceaser Salad which was absolutely delicious with a plethora of fresh salad including cucumber & tomatoes (which not many other cafés offer!)Overall our visit here was a delightful stop off which I highly recommend visiting if you are in Wetherby.
