Warm and comfy bed and plenty of hot water. Very good breakfast and again excellent service. Cannot fault this place.

Baanrai Thai Cafe and restaurant
9 Bank St, WetherbyLast night was our first visit to Baanrai since moving to Wetherby last year and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and the waitress could not have been more accommodating and friendly.
Each of the three courses we ordered were exceptional and our red thai curry certainly did not disappoint, the best we have ever tasted.
There are not words to truly describe our experience as it was out of this world.
Will definitely be visiting again. Bravo to everyone at Baanrai.

it was lovely to visit Wetherby and your pub. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the time in the bar. you didn't quite hit the mark this time with food, but you were professional in the way you dealt with the complaint and you resolved the situation excellently , in fact you exceeded my expectations. We will definitely return and I'm sure it be better.
The beers and selection of drinks were great , I'd also like to compliment you on your selection of non alcoholic gins.
A little set back but all in all a lovely bar with excellent service.. well worth a visit!

Varied menu which is reasonably priced and a very good limited lunch menu with a highest price of £8.50. Order at bar but all very efficient. Friendly staff, excellent food and comfortable seating. What more do you need? Highly recommended.

We're working our way through the various curries on the menu currently and we have never had a bad meal, which makes it very difficult for us to pick a favourite! The pakoras are definitely our top appetisers every time. They are so accommodating with any small requests we make and go the extra mile to make our meal very special, which doesn't go unnoticed. The drivers are always very friendly when delivering. Thank you for your amazing food and fantastic service!

Returned today (Sunday) with friends and the menu was limited . Very disappointed there was not a vegetarian option. This needs to be addressed. An alternative to the Sunday lunch would be nice.

4 High St, WetherbyCalled in on cycle ride today. Lovely weather to sit outside on the terrace. Spoilt for choice with wide menu but both went for lemon scone with lemon curd. Delicious and good quality coffee also. Very reasonable prices. Staff very attentive and friendly and served promptly. Will return for more treats.

We ordered fish and chips for two with a side of peas and curry.
The fish was on the thin side and the batter on the thick side. The chips were ok. Mushy peas a little dry. Cost £18.40
It was nice enough, an ok , but won't make the effort to travel there again. We still don't know why.

19 High St, WetherbyThe Red Lion is a nice traditional pub near the weir. There is a wide range of beers lager and cider including four hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones we tried were very good and in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a pool table and TV in the back room and the pub has a nice beer garden.

Delivery time was exactly what they said it would be, the delivery driver was so pleasant and polite. I had the special curry, my son had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, crispy won tons, and shared chips. My curry was the best I've ever had from a Chinese takeaway, great portion and plenty of sauce. Will deffo be using happy chef in future.

Wood Hall Hotel & Spa
Trip Ln, Linton, WetherbyWe've just come back from such a wonderful stay at this hotel! I cannot recommend it enough. Every member of staff was so attentive and welcoming. The spa treatment that I had (body combo) was absolutely fantastic, the best treatment I have had in as long as I can remember. The hotel itself is situated in the most beautiful location and the room was pure luxury, with an unbeatable view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely looked after and spoilt! The food was really excellent too. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Would love to return again in the future.
